"Leave It To Beaver!"

Why Hire Movers?

Hiring professional movers may seem an unnecessary expense, especially if you are moving a studio or one-bedroom apartment. You could just ask your friend with the pickup to give you a hand. But price isn't the whole story. If you look at cost vs. value, you may see that it's actually cheaper to hire professionals than to do it yourself.

Usually you're going to rent a truck. You've also got to rent blankets and a hand truck, as well as buy tape, shrink wrap, and possibly rope or cargo straps to restrain the load.

Local: You rent the truck. Period. We supply everything else.

Non-local: You rent the truck and supply blankets and load restraint.

You've got to get at least one other person to commit a few hours to your move: not always an easy thing. And you've got to hope your volunteers show up on time, and will stay for the whole job.

Beaver Once we've agreed to a contract, we'll be at the job early with the specified men and equipment. We will not leave until the job is complete to your satisfaction. We will almost certainly be able to complete the job faster than folks who don't move for a living.

Friends certainly mean well, but may not always know the best way to move things. Stuff gets dropped, walls may be dinged, floors scratched. Suddenly the 'cheap' move gets a lot more expensive.

We do this every single day. We have techniques and equipment to move even the most awkward items safely and efficiently. No matter the situation, odds are we've seen it several times. Packing a truck efficiently is much easier when you do it on a regular basis. It's easier to make one trip with a well-packed load than two trips poorly packed.
